भारतीय अभिनेत्री श्रीदेवी के पार्थिव शरीर का दुबई में पोस्टमार्टम किया गया है। श्रीदेवी जी का शनिवार देर रात्रि दिल का दौरा पड़ने से दुबई निधन हो गया था। खलीज टाइम्स के अनुसार, यूएई के अधिकारियों ने श्रीदेवी का पोस्टमार्टम पूरा होने की पुष्टि की है। परन्तु अभी परिवार को फोरेंसिक साक्ष्य विभाग की ओर से कराए गए कुछ परीक्षणों की रिपोर्ट नहीं मिली है।
इस वजह से उनके शव को भारत लाने में देरी हो रही है। खबर मिलने तक उनका पार्थिव शरीर दुबई में ही था। मीडिया के अनुसार, श्रीदेवी का शव रविवार तक उनके परिवार को नहीं सौंपा गया, क्योंकि दुबई पुलिस की ओर से अंतिम जांच रिपोर्ट नहीं आ पाई। अधिकारियों के अनुसार, निर्धारित प्रक्रिया के तहत इन परीक्षणों की रिपोर्ट २४ घंटे में आती है।
किसी भी व्यक्ति के अस्पताल से बाहर निधन होने पर इस नियम का पालन किया जाता है। जिस होटल में श्रीदेवी को दिल का दौरा पड़ा था उन्होंने यह कहते हुए कुछ कहने से इनकार कर दिया कि पुलिस जांच के दौरान बयान जारी नहीं किया जा सकता। श्रीदेवी की हार्ट अटैक से तबीयत अचानक बिगड़ गई और मौत हो गई थी।
दो दशकों तक सिल्वर स्क्रीन पर चांदनी बिखेरनी वाली अभिनेत्री श्रीदेवी ने हाल ही में मॉम फिल्म में मुख्य रोल निभाया था। इससे पहले इंग्लिश विंग्लिश मूवी में कमबैक कर उन्होंने पर्दे पर जबरदस्त वापसी की थी। श्रीदेवी के साथ खुदा गवाह, मिस्टर इंडिया और चांदनी जैसी बड़ी सुपरहिट फिल्मों के नाम भी जुड़े हैं।
