अलीगढ़ में गुंबद निर्माण पर सांप्रदायिक तनाव, पथराव व फायरिंग। अलीगढ़ के अतिसंवेदनशील फूल चौराहा स्थित सर्राफा चौक के एक धर्मस्थल पर गुंबद निर्माण को लेकर शुक्रवार शाम से शुरू हुए विवाद ने देर रात सांप्रदायिक रूप ले लिया। शुरु में हुई समझौता मीटिंग के बाद एक पक्ष की भीड़ ने पुलिस पर पथराव के साथ-साथ फायरिंग भी कर दी। रिप्लाई में पुलिस ने भी आंसू गैस के गोले छोड़े और हवाई फायरिंग करी।
कुछ ही समय में ऊपरकोट से सटा पुराने शहर का पूरा इलाका सांप्रदायिक तनाव में आ गया। दोनों तरफ से तेजी से धार्मिक नारेबाजी होने लगी। पुलिस ने सख्ती दिखाते हुए दोनों पक्षों की भीड़ को हटा दिया। अंत में पहुंचे स्थानीय प्रतिनिधियों ने पुलिस को चेतावनी दी कि अगर सुबह ६ बजे तक गुंबद न हटी, तो परिणाम गंभीर होंगे। पूरी रात पुलिस-प्रशासनिक मौके पर जमा रहे। स्थानीय नेताओं ने हलवाईखाने में डेरा जमाये रखा। फूल चौराहा सर्राफा चौक सांप्रदायिक दृष्टि से शहर का अतिसंवेदनशील जगह है।
यहां बहुत पुराना धर्मस्थल है, जिसकी तीसरी मंजिल पर काफी समय से निर्माण चल रहा है। गुंबद धर्मस्थल की एक साइड तैयार की गई है जो पड़ोस वाले मकान व दुकान पर झुकी हुई निकल रही है। गुंबद का निर्माण इस तरह हो रहा है कि अगर भविष्य में कभी पड़ोस वाले मकान मं रहने वाले अपने मकान पर निर्माण करवाता है, तो गुंबद बीच में आ सकती है। इसी तरह दूसरे कोने पर गुंबद पर लाउड स्पीकर इस तरह लगाये गए हैं कि वह प्याऊ पर आ रहे हैं।
इसका एक पक्ष के लोगों ने शाम करीब पांच बजे से विरोध शुरू कर दिया और निर्माण रोकने की चेतावनी दी। कुछ ही देर में गृहस्वामी के पक्ष से भारी संख्या में भीड़ इकट्ठी हो गई। भीड़ जुटने पर सीओ फर्स्ट, सीओ थर्ड, कोतवाली, सिटी मजिस्ट्रेट, सासनी गेट, बन्नादेवी थाने की फोर्स समेत आरआरएफ आदि मौके पर पहुंच गई। मेयर शकुंतला भारती भी आ गईं।
यहां दोनों पक्षों में इस बात पर सहमति बन गई कि निर्माण फ़िलहाल रुकवा दिया जाए। और साथ ही गुंबद हटवा दी जाए और आगे का निर्माण रविवार को दोनों पक्षों की वार्ता के बाद हो। इसके बाद सभी लोग वहां से चले गए, जबकि सेफ्टी के लिए पुलिस फ़ोर्स तैनात कर दी गयी है।
