केंद्रीय माध्यमिक शिक्षा बोर्ड ने ३० अप्रैल २०१८ सोमवार को संयुक्त प्रवेश परीक्षा जेईई मेन के रिजल्ट घोषित कर दिए। आंध्र प्रदेश के विजयवाड़ा के छात्र भोगी सूरज कृष्णा ने ३६० में से ३५० अंक के साथ देश भर में प्रथम रैंक प्राप्त की है। दूसरा स्थान पर भी आंध्र प्रदेश के ही केवीआर हेमंत कुमार चुडीपल्ली रहे। तीसरा स्थान राजस्थान के पार्थ लतूरिया ने प्राप्त किया है।

हरियाणा के प्रणव गोयल को चौथा और दिल्ली के समरजीत सिंह सलूजा ने नौवां स्थान हासिल किया है। खास बात यह है कि इस बार टॉप छह छात्रों को ३५० अंक मिले हैं। जेईई मेन परीक्षा के लिए देशभर से ११,३५,०८४ छात्रों ने रजिस्ट्रेशन किया था। जिनमें से २,३१,०२४ को सफल घोषित किया गया है।

अब ये छात्र आईआईटी और इंडियन स्कूल ऑफ माइंस, धनबाद के लिए होने वाली जेईई एडवांस परीक्षा में बैठेंगे। इस बार कुल १,८०,३३१ लड़कों और ५०,६९३ लड़कियों ने जेईई एडवांस के लिए क्वॉलिफाई किया है। जेईई मेन की परीक्षा देश में ११२ शहरों के १,६१३ भारतीय और ८ विदेशी केंद्रों पर कराई गई थी। मानव संसाधन विकास मंत्री प्रकाश जावडे़कर ने टॉपर्स को फोन कर बधाई दी है।

सामान्य वर्ग की कटऑफ ७ प्रतिशत गिरी

  • जेईई के लिए सामान्य वर्ग की कटऑफ ७४ प्रतिशत है। इसमें पिछले साल के मुकाबले सात प्रतिशत की गिरावट आई है।
    दो मई से जेईई एडवांस के लिए रजिस्ट्रेशन
  • चयनित छात्र आईआईटी में दाखिले के लिए जेईई एडवांस की परीक्षा देंगे। इसके लिए दो मई से रजिस्ट्रेशन शुरू होगा।

जेईई एडवांस के लिए कटऑफ

  • कॉमन रैंक लिस्ट सामान्य वर्ग ७४ प्रतिशत
  • ओबीसी नॉन क्रीमी लेयर ४५ प्रतिशत
  • एससी २९ प्रतिशत
  • एसटी २४ प्रतिशत
  • दिव्यांग ३५ प्रतिशत

अंक समान तो रैंक अलग-अलग क्यों?

जवाब – मैथ्स, फिजिक्स और पाजीटिव टू नेगेटिव अनुपात से बनती है कटऑफ परीक्षा परिणाम में छह छात्रों के अंक ३५० हैं, लेकिन टॉपर्स अलग-अलग। रिजल्ट के दौरान सबसे पहले छात्र का मैथ्स, फिर फिजिक्स और उसके बाद पॉजीटिव टू नेगेटिव अंक का विश्लेषण होता है। उसके बाद एक समान अंक होने के बाद भी टॉपर्स के नाम तय होते हैं।

इस बार कटऑफ में ७ प्रतिशत की गिरावट है, पिछले साल ८१ प्रतिशत था तो इस बार ७४ प्रतिशत है। जेईई मेन का पेपर होने के बाद विश्लेषण के आधार पर देखा गया था कि पिछले सालों के मुकाबले ओवरऑल पेपर कठिन था।

आईआईटी में लड़कियों के लिए ७७९ सीटें

इस वर्ष २३ आईआईटी में लड़कियों को १४ प्रतिशत आरक्षित सीटों पर प्रवेश दिए जाएंगे। रैंक के अनुसार कुल ७७९ सीटों पर एडमिशन होंगे।
