Xperia update with the January security patches in Sony Xperia XZ and X Performance
In xperia update, today Sony has issued a new software update for the Xperia XZ and the Xperia X Performance. It contains the Jan security patches, as released by Google. It might also fixes an issue where the phone clock would reset after reboot, but so far it has not been confirmed whether this patch is in working.
That’s it, though, no latest features or anything like that this time around. That said, this is the third update that these two handsets have seen in the past 1 month or so, following one from the beginning of the year and the one which brought them the December security fixes last month. So it’s fine to see Sony keeping up with Google in this regard, even if only for a few high-end mobile phones.
