GST: सरकार ने छोटी कारों को छोड़ कर सभी कारों पर जीएसटी टैक्स बढ़ा दिया है। मिड साइज पर २ प्रतिशत जीएसटी बढ़ाया है। जबकि बड़ी कारों पर ५ प्रतिशत और एसयूवी पर ७ प्रतिशत का टैक्स बढ़ाया गया है।
वित्त मंत्री अरुण जेटली ने हैदराबाद में जीएसटी काउंसिल की बैठक के बाद इसकी घोषणा की। उन्होंने कहा कि जीएसटी के तहत टैक्स कलेक्शन काफी अच्छा रहा है और अब तक इससे 95,000 करोड़ रुपये आ चुके हैं।
कौन सी कार पर कितना टैक्स
मिड साइज कार – २ प्रतिशत
बड़ी कार – ५ प्रतिशत
एसयूवी – ७ प्रतिशत
जीएसटीएन की परेशानियों पर मंत्रियों की कमेटी बनेगी ऐसा उन्होंने जीएसटी-नेटवर्क की तकनीकी दिक्कतों को देखते हुए कहा और कि पर भी चर्चा हुई। दो से तीन बार यह ओवरलोड का शिकार हुआ था लेकिन इसे ठीक कर दिया गया।
काउंसिल ने भी मंत्रियों की एक कमेटी गठित की है जिससे वह जीएसटी नेटवर्क से लगातार संपर्क में रहे ताकि जीएसटी के नए सिस्टम को काम करने में कोई दिक्कत न हो।
इन उत्पादों पर २०वीं बैठक में जीएसटी घटाया गया था
- ५ अगस्त २०१७ को नई दिल्ली के विज्ञान भवन में हुई जीएसटी कौंसिल की २०वीं बैठक में १९ सेवाओं की टैक्स दरें बदल दी गई थी।
- इनमें झाड़ू पर जीएसटी घटाकर शून्य, मिट्टी की मूर्तियों पर २८ प्रतिशत से घटाकर ५ प्रतिशत, अगरबत्ती, हवन सामग्री, साड़ी फॉल पर १२ से घटा कर ५ प्रतिशत, रबड़ बैंड, कंप्यूटर के २० इंच तक के मॉनिटर और ट्रैक्टर के कुछ विशेष चिन्हित पार्ट्स, गैस लाइटर पर २८ से घटा कर १८ प्रतिशत, मानव निर्मित यार्न से जुड़े जॉब वर्क पर जीएसटी को घटा कर ५ प्रतिशत किया गया था।
फसल कटाई के बाद और भंडारण से जुड़ी कृषि सेवाओं को १८ प्रतिशत की जगह १२ प्रतिशत, प्लैनेटेरियम में प्रवेश पर २८ की जगह १८ प्रतिशत जीएसटी किया गया था।
