MCD चुनाव: सुस्त वोटिंग के साथ हुई शुरुआत, १० बजे तक पड़े २% से भी कम वोट
MCD चुनाव: सुस्त वोटिंग के साथ हुई शुरुआत। दिल्ली में तीनों नगम निगमों के लिए मतदान शुरू हो चुका है। दिल्ली के सिविल लाइंस इलाके में मुख्यमंत्री अरविंद केजरीवाल अपने माता-पिता, पत्नी व बेटी के साथ वोट डालने पहुंचे। केजरीवाल की बेटी पहली बार मतदान कर रही है। वोट डालने के बाद दिल्ली के मुख्यमंत्री केजरीवाल ने कहा कि ये दिल्ली वालों के लिए डेंगू और चिकनगुनिया के खिलाफ लड़ाई है। उन्होंने दिल्ली की जनता से अधिक से अधिक संख्या में वोट डालने की अपील भी की है।
दिल्ली के नीमड़ी कॉलोनी वार्ड नम्बर ७४ में बीजेपी के पूर्व मण्डल अध्यक्ष को पीटा। पिटाई की वजह सिर्फ ये बताई जा रही है कि वो बीजेपी से बागी प्रत्याशी चित्रा विद्यार्थी का साथ दे रहे थे। इससे पहले आज सुबह उप-राज्यपाल सहित उप-मुख्यमंत्री मनीष सिसोदिया, कांग्रेस छोड़ बीजेपी में शामिल हुए अरविंदर सिंह लवली अपनी पत्नी के साथ वोट डाला।
दिल्ली के तीनों नगर निगमों पर फिलहाल बीजेपी का कब्जा है जबकि आम आदमी पार्टी पहली बार नगर निगम के चुनाव में अपना भाग्य आजमा रही है। ये चुनाव कांग्रेस के लिए भी उतना ही महत्वपूर्ण है क्योंकि दिल्ली में वापसी का यह उसके लिए आखिरी मौका है। मालूम हो कि दिल्ली में लगातार १५ साल शासन करने के बाद २०१५ में हुए विधानसभा चुनाव में कांग्रेस को एक भी सीट नहीं मिली थी और नगर निगम में भी उनका लगभग ऐसा ही हाल है।
दिल्ली के तीनों नगर निगमों के लिए आयोग ने १३२३४ पोलिंग बूथ बनाए हैं, इन बूथों पर मतदान कराने के लिए ७० हजार कर्मचारियों को नियुक्त किया गया है। मतदान सुबह ८ बजे से शाम साढ़े ५ बजे तक होगा।
११:३०प्रातः दस बजे तक हुआ १०% मतदान।
११:२०प्रातः दिल्ली के मौजपुर और सराए पीपल में आज मतदान नहीं हुआ। वहां उम्मीदवारों की मौत की वजह से चुनाव टालना पड़ा।
११:०८प्रातः सुस्त वोटिंग से दिल्ली में शुरु हुए मतदान, १० बजे तक तीनों निगमों में केवल १.16 प्रतिशत वोट पड़े। पूर्वी नगर निगम में मात्र ०.७८%, उत्तरी निमग में १.४७% और दक्षिणी नगर निगम में केवल १.१०% ही वोट पड़े।
१0:३३प्रातः ईस्ट विनोद नगर में वोटरों की लगी भीड़।
९:४७प्रातः हरि नगर में मशीन में खराबी के कारण एक घंटा देरी से मतदान शुरू हुआ। इलाके में शांति से मतदान जारी।
९:०४प्रातः दिल्ली के नीमड़ी कॉलोनी वार्ड नम्बर ७४ में बीजेपी के पूर्व मण्डल अध्यक्ष को पीटा। पिटाई की वजह थी कि वो बीजेपी से बागी प्रत्याशी चित्रा विद्यार्थी का साथ दे रहे थे। जबरदस्ती कार रुकवाई और एक सीनियर सिटीजन को बुरी तरह से पीटा। भारत नगर थाने की पुलिस मामले की जांच कर रही है।
९:२१प्रातः लक्ष्मी नगर में बूथ बदले जाने से दिक्कत हुई, घर पर परची नहीं आने से नए बूथ की जानकारी नहीं। लोग इधर-उधर भटक रहे हैं।
९:२१प्रातः बूथ नंबर ३८ पर ईवीएम में दिक्कत, कभी लाइट नहीं जल रही तो कभी आवाज नहीं आ रही। बीस-पच्चीस लोगों ने की शिकायत।
