मुंबई हमले के मास्टरमाइंड हाफिज सईद के खिलाफ पाकिस्तान को अमेरिका के राष्ट्रपति डोनाल्ड ट्रंप के दबाव में आकर कार्रवाई करने के लिए मजबूर होना पड़ा। लाहौर में सोमवार रात को मुंबई हमले के मास्टरमाइंड और जमात उद दावा के सरगना हाफिज सईद समेत पांच अन्य लोगों को नजरबंद कर दिया गया है।
पंजाब सरकार के गृह मंत्रालय ने भी सईद को हिरासत में लेने का आदेश जारी किया था। इसके बाद लाहौर पुलिस चौबुर्जी स्थित जमात उद दावा के मुख्यालय पहुंची और वहां से सईद को हिरासत में ले लिया।
जमात उद दावा (जेयूडी) के मुख्यालय में मौजूद अहमद नदीम ने बताया कि हाफिज सईद को चौबुर्जी स्थित मस्जिद ए कदासिया में नजरबंद किया गया है। इस परिसर को भारी संख्या में पुलिस बल ने घेर लिया है। पंजाब सरकार ने ट्रंप प्रशासन की चेतावनी के बाद आतंकवाद के खिलाफ यह पहला कदम उठाया है।
